This is a great Rees Jones track. Mounding keeps many shots in fairway. Some difficult carries off the tee for high handicappers on the back nine. Be sure to play the right tees for your ability and let it rip! Great friendly staff.
Top 5 Golf course of the 60 courses I’ve played around the Valley. Great layout, greens are pure. Fairways and rough is ideal. Truly a beautiful golf course and I highly recommend playing this when you’re looking for a great course to challenge your game.
I have taken lesson here twice in 3 years and was happy with the John Jacobs school. This course is beautiful and enjoyable to play.
However, the LTG course is listed on the website as a PUBLIC course, yet when I went to pay for practice range balls, I was initially declined use and told it is for members only. After discussing with the clubhouse that I was previously told I could use the range after taking lessons, I was then told it would be a $25 range fee. There were literally only 2 people at the range on a Monday afternoon. There were 2 on the putting green and 2 at the pitching area. If it isn't really open to the public, then please note that on the website. I paid the $25 to use the "public" range, but it will be the last time as it is poor management and elitist to decline or discourage use to the general public, especially during low season.
I’ve never left a negative review before but I had to let people know what happen. My husband and I are newer to the area and we wanted to try out a new course and driving range. My husband went inside the pro shop to inquire about the course and was treated with so much disrespect because of his skin color. Marty - person who greeted him told him he could not play there, told one of his employees to watch “the guy walking around “. My husband is a successful businessman in the area that happens to not be white (which by the way , I am ). Marty was so rude and showed so much judgement that even his employee who witnessed this racism apologized for Marty’s behalf and felt so bad for the way my husband was treated. Unfortunately, we will not be back. My husband was definitely the bigger person and told Marty he will pray for him that God will change his heart. So sad this still happens today.
Very, very nice Golfcourse, super friendly staff... Back nine are more challenging - enjoy your time on this course..
Lookout for some Bobcats...
Top notch Golf experience with outstanding Country club feel. The course is rated as outstanding layout - one the top golf experience in the USA. Course plays long and the Silver or Black tees are very challenging - club house and staff are great. Course was designed by Rees Jones, a world renown architect. Food is both quick or dine on the patio. Home made potato chips made to order, draft beers or full meals are great. Worth the experience. Note the course prides itself on 4 hour rounds so giddy up.
Dam this course is for real! This course is Desert Golf at its best! If you can't hit the ball off the Tee Box you should not play here!! Great greens great Fairways great overall staff! I plan to play here again when I get a little better
Played here twice in the last month, great conditions for the time of year.
